Not Your Typical Mariachi

It truly is a rarity to see an all female mariachi, but here we are, together for almost 7 1/2 years now! Many times, while we are out and about, we get asked what we do, “Are you dancers?” they’ll ask. “Well, we can dance but we are actually an all female mariachi,” we reply. “Oh so you’re singers!” they ask. “Well, yes we sing too!” I guess it really is uncommon to see a group of girls who actually play mariachi music, who perform the traditional songs on the traditional instruments (violins, trumpets, vihuela guitarron), but that’s what we do! As a matter of fact, we take our musicianship quite seriously. Excellence is extremely important to us, not only because we enjoy making beautiful music but as musicians, we feel a sense of responsibility to deliver every one of our song with integrity. We hope one day soon to have the pleasure of bringing our music to you. It might be though one of our videos, or maybe you’ll get to see us on a stage like at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, or the House of Blues quite possibly it could even be at your best friends wedding! However it happens, hopefully we’ll be playing one of your favorite songs and you enjoy hearing it as much as we’ll enjoy playing it!
